Question 1: Will OrgPlus 5 open files created in earlier versions of OrgPlus?

Answer: Yes. OrgPlus 5 has the ability to open chart files created in previous versions of OrgPlus. In addition to OrgPlus OPX files created in 3, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.0 SE, OrgPlus can open your old template (.ops) files.

Question 2: What happened to the Start Page?

Answer: The OrgPlus Start Page has been updated to a Welcome Page that appears whenever you launch the application. The Welcome Page is a great starting point to begin the charting process, open existing charts or to view sample files. To show or hide the Welcome page, Select Welcome to OrgPlus from the Help menu.

Question 3: How can I create new fields?

Answer: To define new fields in OrgPlus 5, select Define Fields from the Data menu. The Define Fields dialog gives you greater control over your field formats and also includes a set of predefined fields.

Question 4: How do I change the layout of fields in boxes?

Answer: All the properties of a box, including field layout, can be accessed by selecting the desired box and editing the box properties. After selecting a box you can edit its properties by selecting Box Properties from the Format menu or by right clicking on a box and selecting Box Properties.

Question 5: How do I format the fields in boxes?

Answer: OrgPlus 5 replaced the Set Text functionality found in previous versions of OrgPlus with Format Fields. Format Fields allows you to select which fields you want to format and then applies the changes to the entire chart. This feature can be accessed by selecting Format Fields from the Format menu.

Answer: The OrgPlus 5 branch style format options can be accessed by selecting the desired Chart Style from the Format menu.

Answer: In OrgPlus 5, select File | Save As. Navigate to the My Documents/My Charts/Templates directory. Change the file type from a .OPX to a .OPXT. This chart will now be saved as a template and accessible through the Template Panel.

Question 17: How do I sort my boxes in OrgPlus 5?

Answer: In OrgPlus 5, select a group of boxes you want to sort. Select Data | Sort to sort the boxes on any available data field.

Question 18: Where is the spell checker in OrgPlus 5?

Answer: In OrgPlus 5 you can check your spelling throughout the chart by selecting Tools | Spelling.

Answer: In OrgPlus 5, select a branch or group of boxes. Select Format | Spacing to modify the spacing properties.

Answer: In OrgPlus 5, to change the page layout from Portrait to Landscape or vice versa, select File | Page Setup. Select the correct orientation of your chart.
