OrgPlus Enterprise - Upgrading to OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler

Summary:
OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler is the latest release of the ActiveX control that allows you to plan, model and analyze your OrgPlus Enterprise charts within a browser window. The OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler includes all the functionality of OrgPlus 7 Standard as well as the ability to publish charts to PowerPoint and PDF to easily share your models with colleagues. This knowledge base article describes how to upgrade OrgPlus Enterprise 3 to the OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler. Future patch releases of OrgPlus Enterprise 3 will include the OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler.

Procedure:
Upgrading the Modeler Path in OrgPlus Enterprise 3:

• Sign-on to OrgPlus Enterprise 3 as an administrator.
• Select Admin from the landing page to display the OrgPlus Enterprise administrator panel.
• Under the Preferences node, select the Modeler Path option.
  
  
• Change the URL in the Modeler path text entry field to
  http://download.humanconcepts.com/downlaods/op7/ope_modeler/hcinstall7.cab
  
• Click the Update button. If OrgPlus Enterprise is successfully able to connect to the new Modeler Path, the Version and Build numbers are updated and a success message is displayed.
  
• OrgPlus Enterprise 3 is now ready to distribute OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler. Users who want to upgrade can follow the instructions below to upgrade to the latest OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler.

Installing OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler:

• To install the OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler ActiveX control, users will need permissions to install ActiveX controls on their computer. If you do not have the appropriate permissions, contact your system administrator for assistance.
• Click the Send to Modeler icon in the OrgPlus Enterprise toolbar.
  
• Select the desired options in the Send to Modeler window and click OK.
• The installation may be temporarily halted by the Internet Explorer Information bar. If this occurs, click the information bar and select Install ActiveX Control from the local menu.
  
  
  
• If you receive the following Internet Explorer Security Warning, click Install to install the OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler ActiveX control.
  
  
  
• A meter shows the installation progress of OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler. After the installation is complete, the chart opens in the OrgPlus 7 Enterprise Modeler window.
