This release of OrgPlus Enterprise is version 3.3. It includes new features, issue resolutions and product enhancements as described below.
Enhancements/Resolved Issues:
- Blueprint: The new optional Blueprint module provides a solution for managing restructuring activities such as reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Absolute Security Filters: Filters can now be configured to only include exact (absolute) matches (e.g., all German employees) or to include both matched records and all associated subordinates of those matched records.
- Mapped Fields: OrgPlus Enterprise now supports creating mapped fields from merged fields.
- OPX Data Source Enhancements: OPX data sources can now be stored on the server and set to automatically refresh whenever the contents of the file are changed.
- Installer: OrgPlus Enterprise now supports Oracle connections via LDAP.
- User Passwords: OrgPlus Enterprise Administrators can now set password complexity requirements (e.g., minimum length, two numeric characters required, etc.) for passwords associated with internal accounts.
- Merged Fields: Merged fields can now support loading pictures from network drives.
- Role Restriction: The interface for defining the top box shown when a view is first displayed has been improved.
- Failed Logins: A log of all failed login attempts is now available to OrgPlus Enterprise Administrators.
- OrgTree: OrgTree performance has been optimized for faster rendering.
- Send to Excel: OrgPlus Enterprise can now export data directly to the Excel 2007 format.
- Automatic Branch Styles: Automatic branch styles have been optimized to yield improved results.
- Usage Log: The usage log no longer includes requests from the OrgPlus Enterprise Scheduler Service.
- Directory: Duplicate records are now correctly hidden in directory searches.
- Directory: Executing a directory search via the URL interface no longer causes an error to occur.
- Directory: Search results are now correctly displayed when browsing across large spans of pages.
- Combine: Field values are no longer removed from multi-record boxes with conditional formatting applied.
- Roles: Formula fields are now correctly filtered if a dependent field is restricted.
- Templates: Date formatting specified in templates is now correctly applied in OrgPlus Enterprise.
- Module Access: The module tabs (Chart, Directory, OrgTree, etc.) and welcome screen icons are now removed instead of disabled for users without permission to access these modules.
- Bookmarks: The bookmarks panel is now correctly displayed when the add bookmarks function is disabled.
Known Issues and Limitations:
- Saving a Blueprint as PDF, PPT, OPX or XLS causes the OrgPlus Web Modeler window title to become static.
- OrgPlus Web Modeler: Identifying and linking duplicate records in the chart is not supported.
- OrgPlus Web Modeler: The "Resort peers to optimize space usage (overrides sort)" option in the automatic branch style is not supported.
- OrgPlus Web Modeler: Sorting chart boxes based on a field value is not supported.
- Filters: Operators 'Starts with' and 'Ends with' have been replaced with the LIKE operator.
- Filters: Operators 'Is Between' and 'Is Not Between' have been replaced with the 'greater than', 'less than', 'greater than or equal to' and 'less than or equal to' operators.
- Formula Calculation: Formula fields with the same function (i.e. headcount) and different ranges (i.e. branch including manager, branch excluding manager) across multiple views must have different names in order for the formulas to calculate correctly.

Summary:
This release of OrgPlus Enterprise is version 3.1.2. It includes new features, issue resolutions and product enhancements as described below.
Enhancements/Resolved Issues:
- SAP Data Source Adapter: OrgPlus Enterprise now support non-standard SAP relationships for OrgUnits, People and Positions.
- SAP Data Source Adapter: OrgPlus Enterprise can now handle undefined relationships resulting from queries on sub-sets of SAP organizational structures.
- SAP Data Source Adapter: Empty or blank date fields are automatically populated with the current date for queries using SAP HR-OCI 6.0.
- OrgTree and Oracle application databases: The time taken to build the OrgTree in OrgPlus Enterprise systems using an Oracle application database has been significantly improved.
- Refresh Data: Formula calculation for each view has been moved to the data refresh cycle. This improves the amount of time taken to initially display views to OrgPlus users.
- Refresh Data: Added the SkipMissedRefresh property to the ASP.NET configuration. When set to True, OrgPlus Enterprise does not immediately attempt to refresh chart data after missing a scheduled refresh. Instead, OrgPlus Enterprise waits for the next scheduled refresh event to refresh the chart data.
- Role Rules: Changes to field display names are not correctly propagated through to the role rules dialog.
- Role Rules: 'Is Not' and 'Does Not Contain' operators now function correctly.
- SAP Standalone Authentication: SAP standalone authentication in OrgPlus Enterprise no longer causes RUNTIME warnings in SAP.
- Chart Navigation: Sub-chart navigation is now correct when navigating up the chart with chain of command enabled.
- Index: Fields containing commas (i.e. last name, first name) are now correctly sorted in the index panel.
- Chart Rules: Assistant styles specified in chart rules are now correctly applied in OrgPlus Enterprise.
Known Issues and Limitations:
- Formula calculation Performance for larger data sets has not been optimized for the following ranges: Dir Subordinates, Dir Sub and Mgr, Branch Excl. Mgr, Co-workers, All Manager Exclusive and All Managers Inclusive. Conditional formulas with the ranges Dir Subordinates, Dir Sub and Mgr, Branch Excl. Mgr, Co-workers also have not been optimized.
- OrgTree: The 'Break on' key used to build the OrgTree must be unique for each grouping. If the 'Break on' key is not unique, certain repeated groups may be omitted from the OrgTree.

- Filters: The "In" operator can now be used with text fields.
- Send to Modeler: Administrator privileges are now respected when including orphan records in charts sent to the modeler.
- External Filters: Calculated fields are not correctly displayed in boxes and profiles when using external filters.

Known Issues and Limitations:
- Hebrew Language Support: Hebrew language support is limited to only the user interface; the OrgPlus Enterprise Administrator screens have not been translated into Hebrew.

- Merged Fields: Resolved issue preventing the use of special characters in merged fields.
- Views: Orientation: Specify the cell alignment for your charts.
- Views: Fields: Optionally hide formulas in box layouts if the formula calculation is equal to zero.
- Page Layout: OrgPlus Enterprise now correctly prints charts when the landscape mode is selected in both the browser's print settings and OrgPlus Enterprise's Page Setup dialog.
- Directory: Search results for secure views are correctly recycled; this resolves an issue with directory searches returning incorrect results for external users.
- Directory: OrgPlus Enterprise no longer requires a field from the search results be included when sending search results to Excel.

- Zoom: 'Fit to Width' or 'Fit to Window' zoom settings are no longer selected when using the Zoom In and Zoom Out toolbar buttons.
- Multi-Record boxes: Sub-chart arrows now correctly navigate sub-charts when a multi-record box is the top position in the sub-chart.
- Multi-Record Boxes: Multi-record box layouts are now correctly maintained when saving a chart to an OPX file.

- Send to Excel: By default, OrgPlus Enterprise now generates an Excel workbook instead of an Excel XML Spreadsheet.
- Send to Excel: Spaces in field names are no longer converted to underscores when sending chart data to Excel.
- Send to Excel: Use either actual field names or display names for field headers when sending data to Excel.
- OrgTree: OrgPlus Enterprise no longer returns a server error when accessing the OrgTree module on systems using an Oracle application database.
- Data Source: Leading zeroes are now correctly preserved when uploaded to OrgPlus Enterprise.
- Data Source: OrgPlus Enterprise now correctly supports named ranges in Excel import files.
- Filters: The 'Like' operator now correctly interprets wildcard characters.
- Filters: The 'IN' and 'CONTAINS' operators allow more complex filter definition (for example, Row Level Security).
- Duplicate Records: Alternate manager links displayed as part of the box are now active when the box is selected.
- Refresh Log: Refresh log entries now contain timestamps.
- Merged Fields: Prefix and postfix text entry fields now support up to 256 characters.
- Security: Setting a value of 1 in the Force Reset column in an excel security access file now correctly resets the password when users log in.
- Bookmarks: Selecting a bookmark now correctly highlights the bookmarked record instead of highlighting the bookmarked record's manager.
Known Issues and Limitations:
- Multi-Record boxes: Multi-record boxes with sub-chart breaks in OrgPlus Enterprise are not applied when saving charts to OPX.
- Views: Orientation: The changes to cell alignment are not applied when printing, publishing or saving charts.

Summary:
OrgPlus Enterprise 3.0 is the base for all future OrgPlus Enterprise releases and represents a significant improvement in performance and reliability over previous releases.
Enhancements:
- Improved Performance: OrgPlus Enterprise 3.0 is up to 5 times faster and can handle a larger number of concurrent users than the 2.6.1 release.
- Fault Tolerance: OrgPlus Enterprise can now be installed within a web farm environment thus minimizing the probability of application downtime related to the failure of single server.
- Themes: The color scheme within OrgPlus Enterprise can be customized to match your corporate color scheme.
- Improved Administration Interface: OrgPlus Enterprise administration is now more powerful. New features include group definition, index definition and profile definition. All views within a domain can now share defined profiles, indexes, and groups.
- SAP Position to Position hierarchy: OrgPlus Enterprise 3.0 can now query SAP for Position to Position hierarchies in addition to the existing support for OrgUnit to OrgUnit hierarchies.
- Enhanced PowerPoint Publish: You can now publish charts to PowerPoint as single page presentations or in book format. A published PowerPoint book can include a cover page, table of contents and an index. You can also specify a PowerPoint template when publishing charts to PowerPoint.
- Enhanced PDF Publish: You can now publish charts to PDF as single page presentations or in book format. A published PDF book can include a cover page, table of contents and an index.
- Multi-record Boxes: OrgPlus Enterprise can automatically create boxes that contain more than one record. For example, the sales team reporting to a manager can be represented in a single box.
- Enhanced Formulas: OrgPlus Enterprise now includes a more sophisticated engine for handling calculations.
- Improved Duplicate Record Handling: Chart boxes can now include a list of alternate managers for any employee that has more than one manager. Navigate directly to a specific occurrence of an employee that appears multiple times in a chart.
- myTree: Your users can now view a myTree panel. The mytree panel is a customized org tree dynamically generated for each end user allowing for streamlined navigation between departments or groups within an organization.
- Automatic Branch Style Optimization: OrgPlus Enterprise can now be configured to automatically optimize branch styles. End users can select different branch styles to achieve optimal chart layout when viewing, publishing, or printing charts.
- E-mail Alerts: You can now configure OrgPlus Enterprise to send administrators e-mail alerts whenever a scheduled data refresh fails or generates warning.
- Domains with Orphan Records: You can configure domains to include orphan records (records that are not part of the hierarchy) to allow end users and administrators to search and chart records or islands (branches not included in the main hierarchy) that are part of the organization but not included in the hierarchy.
- Automatic Co-Manager Detection: You can configure OrgPlus Enterprise to automatically detect co-managers then set the branch style accordingly.
- Enhanced Bookmarks: Users can now reorder bookmarks.
- Change Management: OrgPlus Enterprise 3.0 includes a Change Management Module. A separate license key is required to activate the Change Management module.
The Change Management Module empowers employees by allowing them to submit change requests. Employees can request that a record be updated, transferred, removed, or added. This not only helps to keep organizational information up to date but also reduces the administrative burden on HR and IT.
Known Issues and Limitations:
- This build of OrgPlus Enterprise does not support the Dynamic domain feature currently implemented by some our customers that are using OrgPlus Enterprise with SAP.
- This build of OrgPlus Enterprise supports new installs only. Upgrades will be supported in the next release of 3.0.
- SQL Server is the only database that can be used to store the OrgPlus Enterprise application database.
- Please consult the KB article located at: OrgPlus Enterprise 3.0 Installation Prerequisites for details on how to properly set up a server to support the installation of OrgPlus Enterprise including the steps required to install and configure ASP.NET 2.0.
- There are several chart rendering issues with VML. We recommend you install the SVG plug in and set Preferences->Presentation "SVG only" only in the OrgPlus Enterprise Admin console. You can obtain this plug in for Internet Explorer at: www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/main.html
